branches and groups and to the teachers those who participated in teachers
felicitation ceremony "Guru Upahara Ulela" held by our group in

| 11.02.2002 Started renovation of archives building. Fabrication of
Aluminum cupboards also started and is in progress. |
| 02.04.2002 Dental clinic was held for the year 3,4 and 5 students of the
primary school. There are about 200 students were identified for further
treatment and now they are being directed to the Faculty of Dentistry,
University of Peradeniya. Executive Committee Member of our group Dr. Sarath
Bandara has organized the clinic and screening was done by old Rajans
Dr. Asiri Jayawardene, Dr Sarath Bandara, Dr Kapila Boraluwa and Dr Mrs.
Bandara. |
| 25.05.2002 "Vesak Sisil Beema Dansala" was held for the
fourth time at the Queens Hotel car park in front of Dalada Maligawa.
Dharmaraja Principal Mr. S.M.Keerthirathna was the chief guest and the event
was a great success. Mr. Nalin Kulupana was the chief organizer. |
| 07.2002 Fabrication of Aluminum Cupboards for archives is completed and
construction work will be completed at the end of this month. Data
collection work and computerization is in progress. The Archives committee
is very busy nowadays already spent 650,000 Rs. for the construction work.
We received another donation from Sir D.B.Jayathilaka trust and number of
Old Rajans sent their donations to Archives fund. Please make your
contribution as we are running short of funds. We are planing to complete
the project before the end of the year. |
| 20,21.09.2002 Annual family trip will be organized to go to Hikkaduwa
Coral Reef Hotel. Visit to Dehiwala Zoo, Camp fire night starting from sun
set, following day see bath at sun rise and mini sport meet for children and
wives are the major events organized. Keep the long week end free. |
